Просто так "исторически" сложилось, что темы про acer n30 появляются в основном в 21-м форуме, и только потом их перемещают туда, где они и должны быть по смыслу

Я никак не мог пршить своего зверька. Все время выпадала ошибка про то что USB connect нарушен.Я и в биосе ставил 1,1 и порты USB менял - Бесполезно!
Но тут увидел прошивку с SD card, и дело пошло на лад - никакого гемора: скинули на карту прошивку из соответствующей папки и все, отрубаемся от ПК (а если машинка в коме то все делается через карт ридер) переходим в режим прошивания и все как по маслу. Вот подробная инструкция:

Note: If you fail to upgrade ROM image, this might be caused by the SD card itself
or incorrect boot loader version. Please either change the SD card or upgrade boot loader
first. The boot loader upgrade procedure is the same as ROM upgrade.
1. Use an Apacer/Toshiba/SanDisk SD memory card
2. Unzip (or copy) all the files in the ZIP to the root of the SD card
used for the image upgrade. Please also note that only one image can be upgraded
at a time. For example, if you unzip (or copy) all the WWE files to the root of the
SD card, then unzip (or copy) all the FRA files to the SD, only FRA image will be
flashed to the device.
3. Set the n30 hard reset switch to left.
4. Connect the n30 to external power. (Use AC power)
5. Insert the SD card.
6. Press and hold the power button, and then set the hard reset switch to right.
7. You will see the screen becomes all white. Wait for at least 5 seconds,
then release the power button.
8. Wait for at least 2 minutes for an orange-colored progressing bar to show up.
9. If you don't see the bar after 2 minutes, please repeat from Step 3.
10. If you have tried several times but no success, the SD card you are using
can not be detected by the system. Pls pick another SD card, and repeat from
Step 2.
11. If you are upgrading OS ROM, the device will reboot when upgrade is done.
If you are upgrading boot loader, please hard reset the device when upgrade is done.

ты говоришь что прошивать через кард ридер но для этого нужн усб хост но ты не учел что он есть не у каждого а вот усб кабель есть у всякого имеющего акер н30.
на счет ошибки ничего не знаю у всех кому что то советовали все прошло ок, мог бы попробовать воспользоваться компьютером друга тогда бы точно все прошло хороше !!!

Измученным обрывом USB-коннекта во время прошивки посвящается!
Пытался как-то прошить 1.0.17 WWE через USB (для SD на офсайте нету) - убил EBOOT, потратил кучу нервов и времени.
Сел и смастерил программу, которая делает из файла для USB-прошивки кучу файлов для SD-прошивки.
Проверено на 1.00.17 WWE, v1.00.11 WWE, v1.00.11 GER.
Пользуйтесь на здоровье.
