Хоть и с большим опозданием, но все же свершилось! Действительно хороший аппарат , правда, с совершенно ненужным и неудобным touchpad'om имел две проблемы: некую кривизну софта и явный недостаток оперативной памяти. Все остальное - сплошной плюс: лучший и больший экран, прекрасный корпус из магниевого сплава, приличная батарея, все возможные беспроводные интерфейсы и слоты расширения и самый быстрый проц. Осталось дело за малым - сделать не update, а upgrade, добавив в КПК еще не менее 64 метров оперативки. Вот тогда и будет машинка замечательной.

Уж лучше бы они с работой инфракрасного разобрались, чем WMP 10 в машинку сандалить. 2 недели назад получил для подразделения 6 штук 4700 и ни с одного нормально на лазерник по инфару не вывести (такое чувство что поток передачи постоянно прерывается-возобновляется). На HP есть только одна отсылка по вопросу - во всем виновата MS W2003SE.

Классная машина и точпад обалденная вещь. А самое приятное было бы если бы они убрали все лишние программы из ROM, а выдавали их на диске. Хочу посталю не хочу не поставлю.

юзаю машинку уже две недели по полной, задействуя большинсво функций. Глюков пока не заметил, но начест ROMа скажу, что лучше перебдить, чем недобдить!

Да, 4700 действительно неплох, но реально проблемы ПО есть - с внутренним софтом или с перационкой /- х.з/ скорее всего и там и там.
Если НР подготовила обновлялову РОМа - это здорово, но вот если бы еще и Билгейтовская контора подчистила вечноглючные Винды - то жить с этим КПК былоб вобще супер

интересно... а руссификатор на новый ром где взять?
старый врядли полноценно покатит.. и где прочитать список изменений програмного обеспечения?
