This software update (version 2.0) provides a variety of enhancements for:
Wi-Fi coverage in low signal areas
Roaming performance
File system stability
Sound quality when listening to MP3 files
More flexible multimedia functionality, including file transmission over wireless connections, file saving, and faster recording and playback
Browser performance, including more efficient, faster page rendering
The VersaMail application to version 3.1C for large document attachments
The Docs To Go application version 7.006
New hard reset option to erase Program Memory but not Internal Drive contents

New hard reset option after installing LifeDrive Update
After you install the LifeDrive Update, you are given a new option when you hard reset. This feature is not documented but it is available if you know the trick
Before the update you had three options:
* Up: Quick Erase (Program Memory and Internal Drive)
* Down: Secure Erase (Program Memory and Internal Drive)
* Center: Cancel
After the update you have four options:
* Up: Quick Erase (Program Memory only)
* Left: Quick Erase (Program Memory and Internal Drive)
* Down: Secure Erase (Program Memory and Internal Drive)
* Center: Cancel
The new reset option allows you to keep your digital music, pictures, videos and other items stored on the Internal Drive, even when you perform a hard reset. The new option only affects Program Memory in your device.
Важный момент:
- Caution: This update will erase all data in Program Memory. Read the instructions in the installer carefully; they will guide you through backing up and restoring your personal data.

Привет всем, уже установил и сразу куча вопросов, я не совсем понял..
1. если я сделаю hard reset, нужно ли будет потом заново устанавливать этот update 2.0
2 На сайте написано что должна появиться четвертая "New hard reset option to erase Program Memory", ни чего такого нет..как было три так и осталось..

1. Апдейт заменяет собой старые ситемные файлы в ROM, естественно, при hard reset ничего не стирается.
2. Почему четвертая? Третья.
а) Только Program Memory
б) Program Memory и Internal Drive
в) Secure Erase Program Memory и Internal Drive

Я понял спасибо..И последний вопрос. Как можно узнать установился ли update? Есть какие-нибудь признаки? Я после установки не заметил никаких изменений..
