Хотя с другой стороны, если все действительно в порядке, то писать такие письма нет необходимости.

Такие письма надо писать ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО - это хорошая, бесплатная реклама..., а у палмов - хорошее будущее , судя по всей этой шумихе...

По этим планам мы уже должны находиться как раз в точке пересечения двух кривых: Винда/Линукс = 50/50

На схеме точка пересечения графиков находится как раз посредине интервала [2000 - 2100]. То бишь, 2005 год.

Линукс уже вышел из моды (надоел).

Линуксом пользуются всего 3-4 человека из 1000. Разумеется косвенно (серверами и оконечными устройствами-"черными коробками") как-то пользуются побольше.
Н тут уж и форточками "опосредованно пользуются"
